I am also building in the Uk a Mx5 based car all is going well, exceptions are the steeering column length,fitting the airflow meter with a K&N filter, hoping to be road legal by May 2008

I've ordered my westfield SDV MX5 kit a few weeks ago. By my count this must be number 3 in belgium, correct me if I'm wrong. Target date to finish this project is end of February beginning of March.
Mine will be black, with black and cream interior and detachable rear arches.

I was curious to your project, but the latest information is from februari!! You still think the both of you can manage the project before your september deadline???

response: Due to unforseen circumsances (change of job, change of house etc), the project has been pushed back a bit. It's clear the car will not be ready by september, but I'll soon pick up with it. I have been working on the donor parts though (cleaning, sandblasting, painting etc).
Hello, I'm the first Belgian customer (sorry Pat) who buy and build a Mazda SDV Westfield kit, packed at the factory on the 4st of january. It will be in Ivory, with red roof, carpet in red with magnolia insert, magnolia seats with red insert and red piping, lowered floors, detachable rear arches, and chrome pack. At this moment, I've stop the building due to family problems, but I will soon restarted.
I started a build myself a month ago, and I'm following the one on Flyi'n Miata to get some tips and tricks, maybe I can learn something from you as well. My homepage is only in Swedish and in the shape of a day to day story.
